"Just next to the La Spezia cruise terminal, is a simple coffee shop with open air tables to enjoy the sea breeze. Directly on the main walking pier, salads, rice, pasta dishes are available at lunch time, sandwiches and small pastries all day. Beers and other liquors available, as in most Italian coffee shops (bar)."

"Having parked the car nearby and before walking into town we decided to stop off here for aperitivo. The place was very busy, a mixture of families, workers just clocking off and the odd tourist like ourselves. We perched on high stools just outside the main part of the establishment and eventually caught the eye of one of the young waiters, all of whom seemed to be rushed off the feet. The four of us ordered a range of aperitivos and then paid for them at a counter in a sort of kiosk. Strange, but OK."
